Day at the park - Nolan's first swing ride
This was on August 18th. Lisa took the kids to our park. Nolan rode in the baby swing and laughed like crazy while riding it. Tulia finally got to be the big sister she wants to be and push her little brother in the swing.

Our Kids Swimming
Some of our neighborhood friends invited us over for a pool party. Nolan decided to not nap very good that day right before the party (shocking I know). I put him in the stroller and walked for about 30 minutes so he could nap. Of course he slept only 15 minutes.

Tulia on the Tahoe Flume trail
So after conspiring with a fellow mountain biker on mtbr.com, Tulia and I took a camping trip up to Tahoe to ride the Flume trail. I finally remember why I love the Sierra's so much. The views are incredible.

Tulia's Day

I took Tulia to Scotts Valley where she road the Roaring camp railroad. It is a diesel steam engine train. We took the look through the redwoods. It was about an hour ride.

I told Tulia to go fly a kite. And she did! This was the first time she flew the kite. The next time, she played with a bit then let it go. Now it's stuck in a tree at our park.

Tulia Ice skating
On a recent trip to Grandpa's house, we took Tulia to the Schultz ice rink. She ice skated for the first time and actually liked it! She was doing really good. She didn't even fall once! Of course we were helping her, but still!

Tulia's 2 year birthday party

Tulia in May 2006
Various pictures from May 2006. This month, Tulia really started to appreciate Scout. She asks to hang out with him all the time. Whenever we go outside, she wants to let the dog out too.
Tulia is also getting the hang of going shopping. She went to Any Mountain the other day to pick up some outdoor equipment. After shopping there, she decided to get a quick session of rock climbing in.

ATV. Just ride

Tulia Chrismas and New Year 2006
Happy New Year! Tulia had her second Christmas and New year. She has grown so fast over the past year. Currently she is walking although sometimes she will revert to crawling. Tulia is able to say many words now. Socks, What's that, shoes, doggie (she says ruff ruff), night night, neigh neigh (milk in chinese), milk in english, blocks, uh oh, baby, and some other words that or escaping me right now. She will give hugs and kisses, and blow kisses too. Tulia will play hide and seek. She has also learned how to put things back in their containers (clean up)...

After two nights (1 1/2), we are both exhausted. It's 410 in the morning right now and she is sleeping in my lap. Sleeping for no more than 2 hours at a time is pretty tough, but all worth it.

Tulia is born
Lisa gave birth at 2323 last night 11/29/2004 at El Camino Hospital to a healthy 6lbs 3oz baby girl. Her name is Tulia Eileen Ku.

Lisa at 37 weeks
Happy Thanksgiving. Today we are thankful for a trouble-free pregnancy so far, knock wood! 37 Weeks! Holy Cow! Her debut is coming up! So here are some pictures of the almost complete table/shelf. Just some sanding and some wood filler and a couple of coats of paint to go... Check out the routered table top and the mitered trim under the top.

Lisa at 34 weeks
Lisa at 34 weeks. We also got to take a look at her via ultrasound today. She looks really good. Sorry no picture to share. We also had a great baby shower at Santina's parent's house. Lisa at 32 weeks
Lisa at 32 weeks. Today we heard the baby's heartbeat using the stethoscope. This is the first time we have been able to hear the heartbeat without the use of the doppler.

Lisa at 23 weeks
Lisa at 23 weeks. The baby is kicking a good amount and I have felt and seen it many times. It's rather amazing. Lisa says she sometimes feels the kicking on the inside as if she was kicking her bladder or internal organs to make room for herself.

Lisa at 21 weeks
Here is Lisa at 21 Weeks. The baby is estimated to be one pound now. Lisa is now 99.99% sure it is a girl thanks to one last ultrasound done by a co-worker. The baby is also reportedly able to hear now.

Here is Lisa at 19 weeks. Lisa is also now feeling the baby move and kick sporadically. She describes it as a tickling feeling, a goldfish hitting the sides of a plastic bag, and like a sensation like something is pushing on her from the inside

Lisa at 17 weeks
Here is Lisa's 17 week and 1 day tummy picture. She has grown 1" in diameter at the belly button in one and a half weeks. Everyone is so excited and can't wait. Lisa is eating more and sleeping more now too. Growing a baby is taking a lot out of her.

Our baby is 16 weeks and 1 day. This is Lisa's tummy. Lisa has gained 8lbs so far. Lisa now can eat as much as Mike, Sometimes more!!!

This is when we told everyone. The baby was doing flips and waving when we did the ultrasound (no kidding!) We got to see a better photo but the one we ended up with wasn't the best. Still you can see the hands and feet. The head is on the left side.
