Nolan eats for the first time

Nolan got his first solid meal today. On the menu was rice cereal mixed with mammary milk. Yumm, errr, yeah...

]]> What a difference from Tulia. We dug up the old video of her eating for the first time and she wasn't that interested eating.

Nolan on the otherhand was very interested in eating. He gobbled it down. Well, what made it down anyway...

Lisa turns 33

Lisa turned 33 and we had a small get together at Oak Meadow park in Los Gatos.

]]> As usual, way too much food.

Kate Young's Birthday

We went to a party for Kate Young's 3rd birthday. The party was at a gymnastics place. Tulia was slow to warm up to participating but once she did warm up, it was on.

]]> The thing that made her warm up was the big foam pit. The first thing she did was jump off a 6 foot box into the foam pit.

Mountain Touring

I added some Mountain Drop bars to the Long Haul trucker. These bars offer multiple hand positions for long rides and they are bent with less drop and more flare for better dirt riding.

]]> I took the bike out to Fremont Older and did a small loop. The bike climbs great and the bars offer many comfortable positions.

Campbell park picnic with the kids

We had a picnic dinner at Campbell park. We then proceeded to play wildly on the playground equipment. Well Tulia did anyway...

Hanging out with old friends

The stars and planets aligned and we found ourselves all back together hanging out at my house. Something that used to be an easy get together, now takes acts of congress to organize and plan, but somehow, it happend by itself, without any planning greater than 3 days...

]]> Weird how these things happen. Fate I guess.

We were a bunch of grown men acting like the kids we are inside. Oh we also tried out surfing on the dummy.

Big Dummy Footsies

Just a couple of pictures the footsies I made out of redwood for the big dummy. Would have cost me $50 for ones made out of plywood.

Tulia gardening

Tulia helped me spray the plants that had Aphids on them. She is a good Aphid killer.

Swim session with Tulia, Nolan, and Camila

We went to Grandma's house to go swimming and invited Janine and Camila up. The kids all had a blast. Tulia was swimming with the inner tube only.

Nolan actually got fully in the water for the first time. He seemed to like it...
