Water babies swim school
Tulia went to the water babies swim school for the first time today. She is a little apprehensive. The first day the teacher wanted to pour water on her head to get her used to the idea of getting her face wet.

Remodel update

Lelani Ragsdale party
We went to the ragsdale house in San Martin for a birthday party for their daughter Lelani. Lots of kids, jump house, pool, trampoline, and cake.

Canoe mount
I wanted to be able to take the canoe along on tips in the RV so I secured some brakets to the roof near the edge where there is the aluminum framing.

The roof over the new construction is done. Now they are starting on the structure over the kitchen. This area will be vaulted.

Roaring Camp railroad
I took Tulia to Scotts Valley where she road the Roaring camp railroad. It is a diesel steam engine train. We took the look through the redwoods. It was about an hour ride.

Go fly a kite
I told Tulia to go fly a kite. And she did! This was the first time she flew the kite. The next time, she played with a bit then let it go. Now it's stuck in a tree at our park.

Santa Cruzin
We spent a nice afternoon in Santa Cruz. The weather was great, not too warm, not too cold. Tulia tried to fly a kit but there wasn't enough wind. We then had dinner at a restaurant on the pier.
